Broken heart

No more pain, Sweet Pea.   Momma loves you forever & knows that Nana J is taking good care of you.

But oh, the pain for me.

Thanks to Dr. Buchanan, Dr. Mullan, and the staff at Mallard Point Veterinary Clinic in Minooka and the Animal Care Center in Plainfield for making Sylvester’s last days as comfortable as possible.

Please accept my deepest sympathy. I am sure Sylvester had a good life with you. It took a lot of strength to make a hard decision. So sad, Brenda

    Hi Sheri & Tom,

Born on my birthday and given to the most perfect couple that we knew would love and care for him forever. Everyone’s forever comes at a different time. Sylvester had the best family and he gave you uncontional love. Read below:

I am so sorry for your loss. I have been searching franticly for the last 4 days trying to find answers to the questions of my own fur babies death on August 1st. Your blog is the only thing I have come close to finding that lists the same symptoms as my beloved Lloyd showed with suddenly. One min. he was fine, the next, I find him too weak to move, laying on the front porch, drooling profusely, jaw clenched. All his tests came back normal. NO kidney or liver failure, bloodwork looked fine. The next day he looked a bit better as we transported him from the ER vet to our regular vet…xrays all looked normal, he stopped responding to stimuli and went blind and then he started to seize and have agonal spasms so we had to end his suffering. I have no idea what happened…they have no answers. Did you ever get your answers? I just wanted to let you know that there is someone else in another part of the world going through the same heart ache…perhaps our furbabies are somewhere playing and purring together now…

My heart goes out to you. It never seems to get any easier, just remember he is no longer in any pain. He is happy and would curl up next to you to make you happy too. I am sure you can still feel him. For we can still feel our little ones now years later.
We all feel a part of your pain.

I’m so very sorry to hear about Sylvester. Hope your heart feels better with each day. Sylvester was lucky to have you both as owners - he certainly was loved.
